PREVIOUS NHS EXPERIENCE
Dr Asha Chagarlamudi has a wide experience in various other branches of medicine. She is confident in dealing with acute medical emergencies and routine medical problems, women’s health problems, recognition of the sick child and dealing with parents of sick children. She has worked several years in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Paediatrics Accident and Emergency medicine and in primary care.
SPECIAL INTERESTS
Autism
Dr Asha Chagarlamudi has developed a special interest over the last few years in treating children with autism. She has attended several training sessions and conferences in the USA and UK over the past few years to become an Autism specialist practitioner.She will now see children with Autism in a private clinic and treat them using biomedical interventions.
Disability Analysis
Dr Asha Chagarlamudi also has a contract with ATOS Medical Services to do part time Disability Analysis work. She has completed full training to be a disability analyst and is now self employed on a part time basis to do domiciliary visits and assess people with regard to functional impairment as a result of their medical condition. She undertakes disability analysis work in London and South East England as and when required, depending on the availability of free time.
Hyperbaric Oxygen Chamber Operator
Dr Asha Chagarlamudi is also a volunteer at the MS therapy centre in Walthamstow. She has undergone full training and can independently operate the Hyper Baric Oxygen Chamber.
AIT Practitioner
Dr Asha Chagarlamudi has completed the formal training for Berards Auditory Integration Training. This is to retrain the auditory system to process sounds adequately and appropriately. This is intended to help children with autism who have auditory processing problems. She now offers AIT in her private clinic.
